Six credits in mathematics (from the above courses) are required for graduation from LP High School. Two credits must be an Algebra course and two credits must include Geometry content. It is strongly recommended that students complete the core math experience of Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2 – regardless of post-high school plans. These three courses are the essential keys to a strong foundation in mathematics. Students are also strongly encouraged to complete a fourth year of mathematics focusing on an area(s) of interest or post-high school plans. * denotes weighted course
